Vigan City Festival

Vigan City Festival

In the past 2 years, we didn’t celebrate Vigan City Fiesta because of the Covid-19. Finally, we’re able to experience it again. We all know that we missed the activities and festival that are held during the Fiesta of Vigan City. So, let me show you my experiences during the Vigan City Fiesta.

Every January 22, we celebrate a longganisa-themed festival. There are a lot of people who watched and enjoyed this festival. The performers danced gracefully with a smile on their faces. They followed a theme for their costumes. The performers are holding a plate with a fake longganisa on it. While watching, I felt really happy because I witnessed a lot of beautiful performances from our place.

This is Kannawidan Festival. This year, it is held near the Vigan’s Capitol. It consist of different municipalities from Ilocos Sur with their products like vegetables, food and beverages, and their crafts. I enjoyed looking at their beautiful handmade crafts. It also have food court inside that you and your friends will surely enjoy the foods that were being sold.

These are some parts of the carnival in our place. It is held during the fiesta. It has an entrance free and the rides have too. There are a lot of family, and friends who go there to have fun and to ride some enjoyable rides. My friends and I rode many fun and extreme rides like viking and the octopus. There are also rides for kids like the kalesa and carousel. We also ate different kinds of food like street foods that we enjoyed a lot.
