Change begins with me

We frequently reject change and fail to recognize that it is a constant. Even if you reject it or ignore it, it will still come into your life. When you initiate the change yourself, it’s pretty easy to adapt to it, since it’s a wanted one. But are the unplanned and unexpected changes bad?

Changing the world begins with improving who we are on the inside. We each have a unique identity and our own distinct thoughts. These thoughts often propel us to act. So, by mindfully centering our thoughts in a positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character.

Change is not easy. It comes slow, with risks, failures and criticism. And, it is often the fear of those that stops one from taking a step towards change. That first step is the hardest and scariest part of the process because it makes one vulnerable. But, it also opens doors for freedom and great opportunities. Making the decision to bring about change is difficult, and continuing down that road by really putting forth the work is equally difficult and crucial, but as the saying goes, nothing worthwhile ever comes easily.

One never knows what each change may bring. When you turn from your usual path there will be plenty of different opportunities waiting for you. Changes will bring new choices for happiness and fulfillment. Remember that each change is a turning page. It is about closing one chapter and opening another one. It bring new beginnings and excitement to life.
