A Not so Special Day

 A Not so Special Day

Every year in the 14th of February, we celebrate Valentine’s day. Valentines Day is a holiday when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts to their love ones. It is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. It celebrates the bond and the relationship they have for everyone. People celebrate this by giving gifts like chocolates and flowers, sending sweet messages of love and affection to their partners, family and friends.

My valentines day was not that much special. We had classes to attend. I spend it with my friends and classmates. Let me share my experience during this celebration. First, the officers in our class decided to make it a little special by doing some exchanging of gifts. I gave a small box full of different kinds of chocolates to someone who’s chosen for me to give to. For me, I received some chocolates forming a heart from my classmate. Second, there was also a booth in front of our building. The theme is all about Valentines. We enjoyed the booth and took pictures. Lastly, the SSG officers planned to let the students wear their shirts with different types of colors depending your love life status.

We must express our love and affection to our love ones everyday and not only in Valentine’s day. Remember that this celebration must be always. We must show our love and affection to our loved ones everyday. Although my Valentine’s was simple, I had fun and made another good memories worth to keep.
